Guidance for using the CSR online Content Manageme
A online tool "CSR back-office" is available to create and update CSR entries by submitting CSR XML files at SeaDataNet CSR format or by completing online forms. This tool makes use of the Marine-id services, operated in the framework of SeaDataNet. You can choose to use your individual marine-id account or to create/use a generic marine-id account (associated with a generic email), it could be useful if in your organization, several people manage the same CSR entries (in the new CSR back-office, each CSR entry is associated with only one owner).
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Traditionally, it is the Chief Scientist's obligation to submit not later than two weeks after the cruise a Cruise Summary Report (CSR). Considering prevailing arrangements per country, Chief Scientists are strongly advised to check with their NODC (see IODE list of NODCs) whether they can report directly to the SeaDataNet CSR online back-office or to their NODC, that will then transfer their CSR entries to the SeaDataNet CSR system.
